Run, Turkey, Run! by Diane Mayr
(description from Amazon.com)
With Thanksgiving only one day away, can Turkey find a place to hide from the farmer who's looking for a plump bird for his family feast?
Maybe he can hide with the pigs . . . or the ducks . . . or the horses . . .
Uh-oh! Here comes the farmer!

I found an extra copy of this book and would love to give it away to another family to read together this Thanksgiving.

Cute! I'd love to win a Thanksgiving book. Grant's favorite holiday book is "The Day it Rained Hearts". It's a Valentines book. We don't have a lot of holiday books but he really likes this one. Its really cute.
I really, really love Polar Express, not the movie so much though. We don't have any thanksgiving books, how fun!
Favorite holiday book is Christmas and I like the Grinch
My kids are on a Christmas kick already and right now their favorite is the Polar Express.
I would love a new book to read to lincoln. We don't have a favorite christmas book yet...But, I plan on buying How the Grinch stole christmas.
I love your idea of having seasonal books out for them to see easier. I still need to build something for the books to keep them in up here in the rooms. I think I'll do a basket for Brady's room and I like the pallet idea for Lukas' room, but don't think it will go with his theme, what do u think??
Oh I guess I'm posting on the wrong blog, lol. Oh well, here's to entering!! :)
Our favorite holiday book has to be Polar Express :)
that is a cute book! i just ordered some thanksgiving books from scholastic. our favorite christmas books include 'the night before christmas' and 'how the grinch stole christmas'. tucker is currently obsessed with the grinch.
